This is a fic I’ve been posting somewhat privately on my site, while I worked on getting back into the headspace for writing fic.  It’s a bit like the rest of my stuff, where the tags are both totally accurate and weirdly misleading, because I have no idea how to tag other than cautiously.  The things in the tags do happen, but they’re not really a main focus or plot-driver.  Except that they kind of are a bit of a plot-driver, in that the fic is about a group of unruly school children that aren’t very well supervised.  Basically, nothing terrible comes of any of it, but I’ve tagged it just in case.

One important point I do want to make, which is not really a spoiler, but also kind of is depending on how you define spoilers.  Everything in this fic is based off of the characters’ stage personae, as it were.  For some of them, that might include characterisations and details that are true to reality.  For others (David in particular), characterisations will not line up to stories about childhood that have been told publicly.  Especially with David, the only way this fic works is if he’s the sort of person who will interrupt the teacher to go on a mad tangent that no one but him cares about.  Otherwise, this wouldn’t be a very interesting fic.

It’s also another one of my “taking panel shows literally” ideas that I had whilst smoking a joint and binge watching QI until 4am for about a week on end.  So many times, the panel likens being on the show to being in school.  And that part of my brain that likes these sorts of concepts said bet.  So here they are, a bunch of delinquent children in a school that may not follow any real world rules on how schools ought to be run.

I was originally planning to finish this one before I posted it to AO3, but I’ve got a good amount of it typed up, so yolo or some shit.
