This is Malapropism. Or it will be, eventually. I\u2019ve created the space as a way to make this idea of mine permanent. I\u2019m not quite sure when to expect it to be released, but you\u2019ll know as soon as I do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you follow me on my main newsletter, or on any of my social media, you may already sort of know what to expect, as this will be at least somewhat autobiographical. I have led a very strange life, and a lot of people have told me I should write a book about it. This isn\u2019t going to be my entire life\u2019s story, and it\u2019s not going to be fully accurate, because there\u2019s a lot that frankly doesn\u2019t need to be told. But what I do want to do, and what I feel like I can do well enough is take enough of the bits of me that work well for a story and use that tell one that\u2019s perhaps a bit fanciful and not entirely true, and maybe a bit (or a lot) embellished in places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the day, I anticipate this being at least 50% fictional. It\u2019s not a memoir, and it shouldn\u2019t be taken as everything in it definitely happened as written, but at the same time there will be a lot in it, at least initially, that I\u2019m sure some of you will recognise from my posts elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Originally this was going to be on Substack, and I even had that set up over there. But then WordPress announced they’d released their own baked-in newsletter features that allowed me to self-host again, which is so much nicer for creative ownership, so here I am. There will be support options when this project launches, but I don’t want anyone to sign up and pay for something that isn’t ready to go out. But signing up early is the best way to make sure you see every chapter as it goes out, so pop your email in there to get on the list early.
